Full Frame
The Sentinel 35-60mm is engineered to fully cover full-frame sensors, delivering a wide, immersive field of view with rich cinematic depth across the entire zoom range. From architecture to portraiture, the 1.33X squeeze adapts naturally to any shooting scenario — without swapping glass.
T2.2-T2.8
Fast Aperture
The Sentinel opens at a fast T2.2 at 35mm, transitioning to T2.8 at 60mm.Please note: this is a variable aperture zoom lens.Aperture markings are calibrated at 35mm; at other focal lengths, the T-stop scale serves as reference only. This characteristic is consistent with professional cinema zoom design, allowing intuitive exposure control while delivering stunning oval bokeh and expressive anamorphic character in a wide range of lighting conditions.
Zoom Freedom
Powered by Blazar’s refined 1.33X anamorphic optical design, the Sentinel gives you a more approachable squeeze ratio that pairs beautifully with 4:3 sensors to produce a true 2.39:1 widescreen frame — or adds elegant cinematic character on 16:9. The continuous 35–60mm zoom range means less time changing lenses, more time capturing the moment — without compromising anamorphic DNA.
Parfocal Zoom
The Sentinel is a true parfocal zoom lens. As you push or pull through the 35–60mm range, focus holds — no breathing, no re-focusing mid-shot. Whether you're punching in on a subject or pulling wide to reveal a scene, your image stays sharp throughout the entire zoom travel. A critical advantage on set, and a rare feature at this price point.

Can I just set the aperture to T2.8 so it stays at T2.8 while I zoom?
A: Not quite. The Sentinel is a variable-aperture lens, with a maximum aperture that floats between T2.2 and T2.8.
The key thing to know: the aperture changes as you zoom — regardless of which stop you set it to.
- Any time you zoom, the aperture changes. This is a physical characteristic of a variable-aperture lens; it cannot be locked or switched off.
- Zoom in (telephoto end) → the aperture gets smaller (higher number, toward T2.8).
- Zoom out (wide end) → the aperture gets larger (lower number, toward T2.2).
This pattern holds no matter what stop you're currently on. So setting it to T2.8 will not "fix" it at T2.8 across the zoom range — it will float again the moment you zoom.
Tip: If you need a truly constant aperture throughout the zoom range, you're looking for a constant-aperture lens. Variable aperture is by design on the Sentinel — it lets us cover the full zoom range in a more compact body.
Are there plans to release additional mounts like Z, EF or PL?
Currently, Sentinel is available exclusively in E-mount. L-mount and RF-Mount .
