Shipping policy

Here's a basic overview of what's in our shipping policy. For more information, please scroll down and find the corresponding section on this page.

SUMMARY

  1. CUSTOMS DUTIES AND IMPORT FEES: Customers located outside the US and China are responsible for any import fees and customs duties charged by your country, which are not included in the checkout price.
  2. PROCESSING TIMES: In-stock orders are typically processed and fulfilled within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday).
  3. DELIVERY TIMES: Delivery times after your order ships depend on your location and chosen shipping method. If our shipping carrier delays your package, we are not able to provide refunds for shipping costs. More info can be found in the DELIVERY TIMES section.
  4. CHANGING ORDER INFO AND ITEMS: You can contact our customer service to change your order info or the items in your order, provided your order has not yet shipped.
  5. RETURNED PACKAGES AND RESHIPPING: If a package is returned to us due to a failed delivery, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping it.
  6. INSPECTION AND SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY: To ensure safe delivery and confirm your acceptance of the package, a signature is required for all shipments valued over $499.
  7. SHIPPING TO US PACKAGE FORWARDING SERVICES: Orders shipped to US package forwarding services may be cancelled to prevent fraud, and international customers should instead order directly to their residential address.
  8. SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES: Blazar cannot ship to US/Canada P.O. Box addresses. Instead, please ship to an alternative address or a local UPS/FedEx Store for pickup.

1. CUSTOMS DUTIES AND IMPORT FEES

Please be advised that any shipping costs we charge on the Blazar store only covers the cost of shipping from our warehouses to your country. You may be responsible for additional import fees, such as taxes or customs duties, that are charged by the shipping company (UPS, FedEx, etc.) after the shipment reaches your country.

Our warehouses are located in the US and China, so if your order is shipping to either of those countries, you will not pay customs fees. But if your order is shipping outside the US or China, you may be charged import fees.

The price you see at checkout does not include these fees. Import fees vary for each country and are determined by your country's customs authorities. Blazar does not have control over these fees and we cannot predict how much you will be charged. Please check with your local government for a detailed breakdown of import and duty costs before placing an order.

Orders shipping to the USA and Canada ship from the USA. All other orders will ship from China.

2. PROCESSING TIMES

If the items in your order are in stock, then your order will typically be processed and fulfilled within 1-3 business days (Monday-Friday) after placing the order. Company holidays may delay order shipment.

US/Canada Customers: When purchasing expedited shipping options, your order will be prioritized. If the order is placed before 11am Pacific Time, then we'll try our best to ship out the order on the same business day. (This is not a guarantee)

3. DELIVERY TIMES

After your shipment leaves our warehouse, the delivery time depends on what shipping method you selected and where you're located. Note that deliveries do not typically occur on Saturdays and Sundays, and those days are skipped when calculating delivery times.

Shipping to USA/Canada:

  • Our Free Shipping option will deliver in 2-5 business days (not counting weekends) depending on your proximity to Southern California.
  • Alternatively, you can pay for expedited or overnight shipping. The exact options and delivery times can be found at the checkout page. Note that any dates you see at checkout are estimates and can always change. If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, we recommend purchasing faster shipping than you require, just in case there are any delays in your shipment. 

Shipping Anywhere Else in the World:

  • All other orders ship from China. Once the shipment leaves the warehouse, it will typically be delivered in 3-7 business days (not counting weekends) with our Free Shipping option. The exact timing depends on your proximity to our China warehouse, and there may be delays if there are issues with customs clearance.

Expedited Shipping & Refunds: While we'll do our best to ship out your order as soon as possible, please note that we cannot provide refunds if your package is delayed after your order is in the hands of our shipping carriers, or if it arrives later than you were expecting.

4. CHANGING ORDER INFO AND ITEMS

If your order has not shipped yet and you need to change your shipping information, the items in your order, or other info, please contact us at info@blazarlens.com with your order number beginning in #BL and we will edit your order accordingly.

5. RETURNED PACKAGES AND RESHIPPING

If a carrier returns your package to us due to a failed delivery (common reasons include):

  • No one available to sign
  • Incorrect or incomplete address or name
  • Package unclaimed after notice
  • Unpaid customs duties

We will reship the package back to you once it arrives at our warehouse. You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the item.

6. INSPECTION AND SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY

Shipments over $499 in value are sent requiring a signature at delivery unless otherwise specified. This is to ensure that your package is safely and successfully delivered without theft or other delivery issues.

As Blazar products are generally quite valuable, please inspect the package upon delivery. Once you (or someone else on your behalf) signs for the item, Blazar will consider this your acceptance of the package, quantity, and product.

To avoid return shipping fees, please ensure someone is available to sign for your delivery. If a package is returned to us for a failed delivery, you will be responsible for the cost to reship it.

The risk of any damage to the Goods shall pass to you on dispatch from the premises of the Company or, where the Goods are to be collected by you, on you collecting the Goods from the Company. To be clear, the risk of damage or loss passes to you when the shipment leaves our facility. If in an unfortunate circumstance the shipment is damaged or lost during transit, you have the option of filing a claim with the shipping company (whether it is insured or not) and the shipping company may decide to pay or refuse the claim. We have no control over that decision, but we are happy to provide assistance in gathering any documentation (such as a copy of the Commercial invoice) that may be needed for this process through our support department.

7. SHIPPING TO US PACKAGE FORWARDING SERVICES

To provide the best customer experience, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order placed with a United States shipping address that is identified as a port, package consolidation service, or package forwarding service.

Why we have this policy:
Shipping to a forwarding service often indicates the final destination is outside the US, and sometimes this leads to fraud and abuse (like payments from stolen credit cards, unauthorized reselling of our products, and other forms of fraudulent activity). Orders shipping to these addresses may be cancelled and refunded in order to safeguard the customer experience and maintain the security of our store for everyone.

The better way to order:
We can ship orders globally to almost anywhere in the world. So if you are an international customer, please place an order with your true residential shipping address. Our system will automatically route your order to the correct warehouse for fulfillment. Orders to Canada will ship from our US warehouse, and orders everywhere else in the world will ship from our China warehouse.

With international orders, you are responsible for all import taxes and customs duties on delivery. These charges are not included in our shipping cost. Please see the CUSTOMS DUTIES AND IMPORT FEES section of this policy for more information.

8. SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES

We are unable to ship orders to USA or Canada P.O. Box addresses, because our carriers do not deliver to these locations.

If your order was placed with a P.O. Box, we kindly ask that you please provide an alternative residential or commercial street address for delivery. 

Need a secure pickup option? For customers who cannot receive packages at a physical address, you may contact us (us@blazarlens.com) to request that your order be shipped to a local UPS Store or FedEx Office Store for pickup.

Please be aware that for packages sent to these pickup locations, the name on the shipping address must exactly match the government-issued photo ID of the person who will be collecting the package from the store. The carrier will require this ID to release your package.
